At Merrow Junior School, children can develop their musical talent without travelling or staying late after school. Weekly small-group lessons take place on-site during the school day, making it easy for families to support their child’s confidence and creativity through music. All sessions are friendly, affordable and social.

We’re proud to partner with The Music Works — an award-winning local organisation recently named Music School of the Year. Their experienced tutors help pupils build real skills while ensuring every lesson stays fun and encouraging.

No child should miss out on music due to cost. Thanks to The Music Works’ partnership with The Cheryl King Trust, families who need assistance can apply for lesson funding, so every pupil has a chance to join in.

Every pupil is invited to try a free trial lesson before signing up.

keep fees manageable. For those who want to continue learning outside school hours, or prefer bespoke private lessons, we have our nearby Guildford Music School. Only a 9 minute drive from Merrow village.
